Hi to all my friends,

Its Christmas again. I was not able to update my blog coz I was very busy concluding my highway project. Anyway as I had mentioned during my first blog that I have bought a house in Pertang, good new is I have received the house in end October 2009.

I did no renovation but only bought items from Ikea and everything in the new house is of DIY.

Come tomorrow, we will be having a party at night with the in laws and some friends staying in Pertang, not inviting friends from KL.

Its durian session again. I will upload pictures of the party next week for viewing.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all.

God Bless.

Hi, it's been a while since I last blog. A close friend of mine today call me to complaint why my blog was not updated. Well, I have been busy lately with works and feeling lazy over the week ends. During the Raya Holidays, I did some painting job to my humble apartment (14 years already).
So here I am again and thank you all for visiting and ready old blogs.
Two week ends ago, my younger brother from Malacca came visiting to announce that his eldest son is getting marry in December. After my place, we all went to visit our Aunt at Bandar Puteri in Puchong and follow with lunch. To have something different from Malacca, I took them to the famous Puchong Yong Tau Foo Downloaded herewith are pictures for your viewing.

Playing with the durians

In my much earlier blog, I have mentioned that I like playing with the durians rather than eating them. Last week I help my office organised a fruit fiesta (Local Fruit Party) with the now in season local fruits. The organiser made the participants not only eating the king & queen of fruits but also made them run with the durians and obviously the prize is a " mau sang wong".
Loading herewith are pictures of the Fruit Fiesta. Enjoy..........

Now you should believe me in playing with the Durians!

Cheers

More about the best durians

As promise, I will be writing about the Best Durians that I has got in touch with and has also tasted them.
The most wanted and expensive durian is the Raja Kunyik (Mau Sang Wong). The flesh is more of a golden color, texture is smooth like butter and the taste is not so sweet and of bitterly. To this Raja Kunyik as a fruit, it is of almost perfection from nature. The present market price of this fruit in KL is about RM 20 to 30 per kilo.
The Raja Kunyik (Mau Sang Wong)

The D 13 (Ang Har) Red Prawn

D 101

Pricing in the market for the D 13 is about RM10 to 15 per kg and the D 101 should be at about RM 8 to 10 per kg.
Try them now as the season is about to end soon.
Enjoy, cheers........

Salted Chicken Eggs

I have earlier blogged about making salted chicken eggs and I have on the 9th. July (25 days)harvested the eggs. The salted chicken eggs looks good, the taste is perfect for salted eggs and the texture of the eggs is smooth not like those bought in the market (made in China). You should try making some or some of you have already harvested some. Share your result.
Downloaded herewith is a picture showing the salted chicken eggs. Enjoy..........

See you next blog with more durian pictures.

Cheers, bye

It's Durian Session.

Durian session is here since 7 days ago. Weather is very hot and no rain at my orchard, durians are good with strong smell and taste fantastic. Due to the dry weather the durian skin is thin and fall from tall trees causing many durians to crack after landing. Pricing is good at the moment mainly due to cheaper logistic with the geographical advantage near KL where the consumer market is easily available with good purchasing power.
Branded durians is now very expensive with the ex-farm price of Raja Kunyik (Mau Sang Wong)at RM 16.00 per kilo, the ever popular D 24 at RM 6.00 per kilo and the Kampong type is at RM 1.80 per kilo (all prices mentioned are for grade AAA). Mangoestins and Rambutans just started to get ripe and major harvesting will be in about 7 days from now.
Downloading herewith are some durian pictures for viewing. Enjoy...............
