Hi,

Me and Agnes was at Pertang over the weekend taking a day leave on the 30/8/10.
On the 29/8/10, we drove to Kuala Kelawang before Pertang. We reached Kuala Kelawang at about 9 am and stop by at the morning market to but some landscape plants for our garden at our new house in Pertang.

On the 30/8 /10 morning we went to the Public Bank in Kuala Kelawang to sort out our land loan. While at the loan dept, a female staff offer us her working chair and she was typing standing. Then another staff assist us throughout the process on our case and we were made very easy and comfortable all through out.

The moral of the story above is between KL and K. Kelawang, 1 1/2 hrs drive away and the people is totally difference in all ways easy, friendly and humble.

Conclusion, I am looking forward to retired in Pertang.

Bye cheers.

Hi,

This is my final part of my "Kenaboi Outdoor/Camping Adventure".
Early on the 1/8/10 morning, we move our team in our 4 wheel drives to the 'highest single drop waterfall in Malaysia - the Lata Kijang'. The journey from our base camp to the waterfall take us 45 mins. in very narrow 4 wheel track, but reaching there viewing the waterfall is a very satisfying experience.

We stay for 30 mins at the waterfall and have to get back to base camp to continue our next itinerary, i.e the "rubber tubing in white water"

I could only able to take some pictures on the water confidence before the rubber tubing cos I have to leave camp early. I was told later that the rubber tubing was great.
Loading herewith pictures for your viewing

Enjoy and cheers. (My next blog will be my hike to Gunung Nuang on the 1/5/2010)

Hi,
My last blog was actually my 1st part of my Kenaboi Adventure where I will put into 3 parts. Today, part 2 will touch on our dinner and the Local Cultural Dance performed with the local "Orang Asli" Group.
We had BBQ dinner of chicken, fish and 1 whole local goat. I was so hungry and I did not take pictures of the BBQ fish and chicken. After the dinner, the BBQ goat was still in the grill and we consume him only 2 hours later.
While waiting for the goat to be cooked, A local "Orang Asli" dance was performed with the participation of our team members.
The whole event including consuming the goat took us to 1 am in the morning.
Download herewith are some pictures for your viewing.
My next blog will be the journey to the waterfall name"Lata Kijang" and the " water tubing in white water"
Enjoy and cheers
