Hi,
KL being very wet and humid since.
My last blog, I mentioned I was offer a job with a Construction Company attached to a hotel project in Cyber Jaya. I reported work on the 19th. Nov 2012 to the Project Site and after 3 days working, I quite due to the very poor and unhygienic working environment. Since then, I am now officially retired and will only start to think what next after the Chinese New Year in February 2013. Any suggestion?.
Talk about Durians this Session. Durians this time grow in size to normal of above 2 kilos each which to durian's normalisation, it is not good due to the rain and lack of sunlight. These factors have case the Durians mostly all not ripe on the ground and many of you durian lovers find that this particular session, the price of many "branded" durians are sold at very cheap prices. So this is the best time to eat durians.
I have 5 arces of "branded" durians and this time is the worse harvest with pricing dropping to about RM 1.60 per kilo for D24, RM 6.00 per kilo for D197(Mau sang Wong) and RM 0.60 per kilo for none branded, all mentioned are of Grade A. As for grade B, you just divide by 2 and you will get the result.
Well, Durian farmers do not get stable income compare to Rubber and Oil Palm. I am now thinking of converting my durians to rubber as eating durians is now a very cheap affair, as the saying goes, "if you want to drink milk, go buy from the dairy cow farmer and not buy home a cow"
Try to blog more frequent as I will have more time now to be lazy but will not get myself lost in this busy and complicated world.
Bye for now and cheers.

Post retirement.
Hi,
After quitting my contract on the 10/9/12, my last working day was on the 9\10\12. Since then I was doing a bit of travelling to my retirement home in Pertang. But then an ex-colleague call me whether I am still interested to continue working. Well as I still cannot leave KL due to my Son's still in college, I decided to go for the interview arranged by the ex-colleague.
The interview was a casual discussion as maybe the Boss wanted to see my face and physical feature.(as I am retired). Ok as he confirmed that he has a hotel project in Cyber Jaya and he needs a M&E Guy to look after the trades which is on 16 months which ends in Feb 2014.
The appointment letter came through e-mail on the 29/10/12 and its a contract base on the completion of the hotel project at Feb 2014.They offer me a Managerial position which I did not apply for. Anyway what the heck, work only mah!.
Will start work on the 19/11/12.
Cheers and bye.

Finally at 55
Hi,
It has been a while since my last posting. Time has not been good with works since I was offered a contract after my 55th. birthday.
The Group of Companies which I am working with has landed major job including the MRT Project. I was transfer to work in the MRT Project which I feel at this moment of time, I should slow down in whatever I am doing and should also do things that I am happy with. " I declined the transfer". My present immediate duties is to complete my Director's Bungalow at Saujana Subang, and the worst job in the world is to build your "Boss House".
After 4 months, since my birthday and the contract offered, I finally quit my position in the company. I want to have a good break and will decide later what to do next.
Bye and cheers.

Hi,
Somehow my boss come to know that I have the intention to retired after my 55 birthday in May 2012. He call me to have a meet with him and later lunch on Tuesday. I reach the office at about 10.30 am waited for awhile and went straight into his office to meet my boss. He started the conversation about my present works and duties and a question of my intention to retired. He continue to tell me that I am still too young to retire and that the company still required my service and contribution.
After about an hour of meeting, I may have something in mind now as to what I may want to do after my 55 birthday. Wait for the right time and I will tell you all my intention.
Bye and cheers

Hi,
It's been a while since my last blog and this is the first time I am writing on an IPad. Using the IPad is easy, convenience and very relax as you can type your text anywhere and at any position you are in.
Well, it's the quarter of the year now in 2012, and my job I am in now faces major chanlenges.
1. I will be celebrating my 55 birthday on the 6/5/2012. There are many thoughts in my mind as to proceed with my retirement. Now my retirement does not mean I will be sitting at home and wasting myself away. One of my thought is to proceed with my Agriculture plan on my 5 arces of land, now with only durian trees. Turn this durian orchard into a modern farm integrated with fish pond, poultry farming, maintain some good durian trees, and have some organic farming. This venture is big time and requires a lot of effort and it will be something I can enjoy while I can made a living out of it. But the timing is not in favor because I am still required to be with the family in KL for another 2 years due to my son in college as I do not believe in doing things part time.
2. My office will offer me a contract to continue doing what I am doing now, but the company is growing too fast and too big. When an organization is big, you cannot run away from company politics which indirectly I am drag into in already. The saying says " any job is never too big or too small, but the people that created it is the challenge". Times I have in mind to run away from it all but with so many years of experience, it will be a waste to just throw all your experience away not forgetting the money they pay me. Well, this has bugged me for quiet a while!!!!!!. and also how to tell your boss you are quitting without a reason.
I wish I could received some comment or advise that can enlighten me a little.
Thank you and cheers.l
I am confused, hope what I wrote can be digested to who ever that read it.
