Local Holiday in Pantai Remis Perak

Last Chrismas, my family together with some family friends guided by a fler living in Pantai Remis visited this coaster town. We check into a budget hotel and immediately went for seafood hunting which is all about this trip. It was about 6 pm and you can get all sort of seafood from the roadside hawkers and the price is very reasonable.

The next morning we went straight to the beach after breakfast to look for "sand prawn" which is made famous by the TV food blogger - "ah xian". Mining for the "sand prawns" is difficult maybe because we are not at it or "ah xian" has exaggerated. Never mine, we did managed to catch 2 nos for our curiosity.

We then went to the "Turtle Sanctuary" where information of the turtles were presented in hard copies, live turtles swimming in the pools and a donation box is provided for visitors to help in the conservative program. We did contributed......

We then went on a fishing boat trip to a fish farm in the sea. They rear many type of fishes for the local market and we bought 6 nos for our dinner.

Pantai Remis to me is a small town with potential for local tourism cos the people is friendly, good beaches and the seafood is plentiful and cheap. I will visit this town again.
The above pictures presented are stills from a video format therefore the quality is only reasonable.

Cheers
