A trek in Taman Negara

About a year ago, I took 7 days leave and make a trip to Taman Negara entering through Pahang driving pass Padang Pioh and reaching on the opposite side of the Taman Negara Head Office in Kuala Tahan. The drive is mainly through palm oil plantation and it takes about 2 hour to reach. You can put a night with the budget hotels or the resort run by a Private operator and it is expensive compare to the budget type. Our plan is a day trip and our stay is at Temeloh.

We cross over to the Taman Negera Head Office side and trek to the World's Longest Canopy Walk. The trek takes about 45 minutes and to our surprise, there we about 60 people waiting turns to climp the Canopy Walk. You have to buy a ticket to experience the walk and it is worthwhile in your life time.

Do you know that majority of the visitors on the day of our visit is from overseas. Don't go during school holidays because there are a lot of school children visiting and they are so noisy that all the animals go hiding.

Looking forward to pen my next blog and I already has a topic cos a few days ago, a friend of mine invited me to trek Mount Kinabalu in Sabah. You know what my friend told me! just buy air ticket and go trek the mountain..... I don't think that is so simple.
